Ty Lingo

President - FORMER APSE BOARD MEMBER, CESP

As the eldest among four siblings, Ty embraced responsibility from a tender age. Their youngest sister’s profound disability necessitated frequent assistance, an experience that fostered the development of their character and laid the foundation for their current mission- advocating for individuals with disabilities seeking employment and educating employers to treat these individuals equally with others. His overarching goal is to empower job seekers with disabilities, creating opportunities often overlooked. This role is profoundly fulfilling, and Ty feels privileged to work alongside and in support of these remarkable individuals.

Cathy Eylar

Leroy Burrowes

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

A lifelong passion for helping others was kindled by the examples set by his mother, who volunteered at St. Charles, and his sister, who has a physical disability. He followed that passion to Ability Employment Services, where he has the opportunity to collaborate with individuals who share his commitment to making a positive impact on the community.

Jenn Burns

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Jenn began her career in dentistry, and an unexpected opportunity
allowed her to obtain a degree in Early Childhood. Jenn’s lifelong passion for advocating for all ages and her commitment to learning led her to join Ability Employment Services, where she enjoys a career that aligns perfectly with her values.

Kevin Soderquist

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Early on, Kevin developed a profound love for sports. Engaging in these sports allowed him to witness firsthand individuals with physical barriers participating alongside him, sparking his awareness of the challenges faced by people with disabilities. This inspired his dedication to empowering individuals with disabilities, so they have the opportunity to realize their potential and actively participate in society with the respect and dignity they rightly deserve.

Brittany Bates

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Brittany, a lifelong resident of northern Spokane, has always had a deep passion for helping others. After high school, she pursued a career as a medical assistant, but her career path soon led her to accept a position as a dispatcher at Spokane County 911. She now enjoys the tranquility of Deer Park with her loving family. Brittany’s role at Ability enables her to fulfill her passion for assisting others as they embark on their next life chapter.

Tam'e Harding

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Born and raised in small-town Idaho then 26 years in Portland, Oregon, I am now back in the smaller big-town atmosphere to stay.  I was raised in a hardworking family with an incredible work ethic and a dedication to helping others.  Our family motto was ingrained by my father early on, “you never go wrong by offering to help someone”.  This has stuck with me and served me well in life’s choices and challenges.  The youngest of three children, my oldest sister is challenged in that she was born with Williams Syndrome.  This has been an incredible asset for me as I’ve spent a lifetime learning that understanding is where we have a window to connect with others and see how we can enrich their lives.  I am thrilled to be in a career where I can help others recognize a sense of accomplishment every day in reaching their goals and finding new horizons to shoot for.

Korin Snyder

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

I grew up in the Kittitas Valley. Over the years I have developed many wonderful relationships and bonds with those in my community. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My desire to help others led me to attend CWU where I obtained degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Interdisciplinary studies of Social Services. I am grateful to be able to use my education and experience and to be able to help others in need.

Kerry Cannon

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

I was born in Pullman Washington and raised in Southern California. I was a bit of a nomad and lived in several different places as an adult. After becoming a single mother and having worked in Human Resources and Staffing for quite a while, I wanted a change. I went back to school and earned my bachelor’s degree in business and management from Redlands University in 2002. I began a 20-year career in the mortgage industry and enjoyed it a lot. I continued that career after moving to Spokane in 2015. One of the things that I enjoyed most about the mortgage industry was being able to help prospective homeowners navigate the maze of getting a home loan. Buying my own home proved to be a special kind of stress and confusion and I believed I could help alleviate some of that for new home buyers. That desire to help people has been a part of my nature my whole life. I have always rooted for the underdog and tried to lift people up even as a child. Making yet another career move coming to Ability Employment I am able to apply my natural desire to help in a new and extremely satisfying way.
