I founded Ability based on my previous experiences, including roles as a coach, teacher, customer service representative, and small business owner, which equipped me well for this venture. Our goal was not to be the largest, but the best in our field, understanding the significant impact we could have on families. This was personal for me, as I saw the relief my parents experienced when finding quality services for my sister.
At Ability, we’ve always had a unique approach, emphasizing the importance of high-quality staff and maintaining stringent expectations for our team and processes. This commitment makes Ability Employment Services an ideal choice for those seeking exceptional care for their loved ones, treating them with the same care and respect we would want for our own family.
is to provide comprehensive and personalized support for individuals seeking or sustaining employment.
At Ability Employment, we’re not just a team, we’re a family. United by a shared vision of innovation and excellence, we are committed to fostering an environment where individual voices are heard. Here, your work isn’t just a job – it’s a journey of growth, learning, and meaningful connections.

Born and raised in small-town Idaho then 26 years in Portland, Oregon, I am now back in the smaller big-town atmosphere to stay. I was raised in a hardworking family with an incredible work ethic and a dedication to helping others. Our family motto was ingrained by my father early on, “you never go wrong by offering to help someone”. This has stuck with me and served me well in life’s choices and challenges. The youngest of three children, my oldest sister is challenged in that she was born with Williams Syndrome. This has been an incredible asset for me as I’ve spent a lifetime learning that understanding is where we have a window to connect with others and see how we can enrich their lives. I am thrilled to be in a career where I can help others recognize a sense of accomplishment every day in reaching their goals and finding new horizons to shoot for.
