Ty Lingo

President - FORMER APSE BOARD MEMBER, CESP

As the eldest among four siblings, Ty embraced responsibility from a tender age. Their youngest sister’s profound disability necessitated frequent assistance, an experience that fostered the development of their character and laid the foundation for their current mission- advocating for individuals with disabilities seeking employment and educating employers to treat these individuals equally with others. His overarching goal is to empower job seekers with disabilities, creating opportunities often overlooked. This role is profoundly fulfilling, and Ty feels privileged to work alongside and in support of these remarkable individuals.

Cathy Eylar

Director - CESP

Cathy is a dedicated professional whose career took an unexpected turn when she joined an agency in Spokane to support job retention, an experience that would profoundly shape her perspective on employers and individuals with disabilities. Today, Cathy is a passionate advocate for equal opportunities in the workforce. She firmly believes that everyone possesses the ability to work and finds immense fulfillment in helping others navigate their journey toward success.

Leroy Burrowes

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

A lifelong passion for helping others was kindled by the examples set by his mother, who volunteered at St. Charles, and his sister, who has a physical disability. He followed that passion to Ability Employment Services, where he has the opportunity to collaborate with individuals who share his commitment to making a positive impact on the community.

Jenn Burns

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Jenn began her career in dentistry, and an unexpected opportunity
allowed her to obtain a degree in Early Childhood. Jenn’s lifelong passion for advocating for all ages and her commitment to learning led her to join Ability Employment Services, where she enjoys a career that aligns perfectly with her values.

Kevin Soderquist

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Early on, Kevin developed a profound love for sports. Engaging in these sports allowed him to witness firsthand individuals with physical barriers participating alongside him, sparking his awareness of the challenges faced by people with disabilities. This inspired his dedication to empowering individuals with disabilities, so they have the opportunity to realize their potential and actively participate in society with the respect and dignity they rightly deserve.

Brittany Bates
